Bertone Simca 1000 Coupé-1967

In 196 was presented the natural evolution of the 1000 Coupé of 1962, called 1200 S, with which it shared the bodywork signed Bertone, although revised in some small details, but fitted the new "354" engine with 1204 cm³, not only of more displacement high, but also more squeezed. In fact, he was able to deliver as much as 80 hp and was able to push the car to a top speed of 175 km / h, a record-breaking figure at the time for such a car.

As a first assignment, I designed the front of the 1200 S to Bertone which distinguished itself from the 1000 Coupé for the front end characterized by the pointed grille, which formed a sort of "nose" as in the drawing shown with two small air intakes on the headlights and a air outlet on the bonnet
